Here are my picks for the best player prop bets that I believe will hit the over. I am confident in my bets but as always, bet responsibly. Don’t lose your rent money on my bets cause you can’t stay with me!
Saquon Barkley OVER 79.5 Rushing Yards
In week one, the Philadelphia Eagles defeated the Washington Commanders, 24-22. Saquon Barkley finished the game with 15 carries for 83 yards. This was in a close game where the offense struggled at times.
This week the Philadelphia Eagles are playing against the Tennessee Titans. The Titans allowed Breece Hall of the New York Jets to run for 102 yards on 22 carries, in week one. The Eagles are a much better team than the Jets and should be ahead for most of the game, which will lead to them running the ball. Barkley should get at least 20 carries and I would be shocked if he doesn’t gain at least 80 yards.
Tetairoa McMillian OVER 57.5 Receiving Yards
One of the best young receivers in the league is Tetairoa McMillian of the Carolina Panthers. In week one, the Panthers loss a wild contest against the Chicago Bears, 59-37. McMillian ended the game with five catches for 75 yards.
This week they are playing against the Atlanta Falcons. The Falcons also loss in week one, 20-13, against the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Steelers threw the ball 40 times compared to
Tet McMillian will benefit from the Panthers offense throwing the ball in place of the run and should go well over 58 receiving yards.
Justin Jefferson OVER 77.5 Receiving Yards
There will be some fans who are going to stay away from this bet because of the uncertainty of who will start at quarterback for the Minnesota Vikings but it doesn’t matter if it is Kyler Murray or Carson Wentz. Both of those quarterbacks, know where their bread is buttered and will make sure that Jefferson gets a good amount of targets.
The Vikings are going against the Chicago Bears this week. The Bears allowed Jalen Coker to go off against them. He had eight receptions for 138 yards and two touchdowns. Coker is a good receiver but he is no Justin Jefferson. Look for Jefferson to have a huge game with more than 78 receiving yards,
Kenneth Walker III over 79.5 Rushing Yards
One of the biggest moves of the offseason was the addition of Kenneth Walker III to the Kansas City Chiefs. In week one, the Chiefs defeated the Denver Broncos in dominant fashion, 31-10. Walker finished the game with 22 carries for 173 yards, one rushing touchdown and one receiving touchdown.
In week two, the Chiefs are going against the Indianapolis Colts. The Colts were dominated by the Baltimore Ravens in week one. The Ravens were able to basically “punk” the Colts with their physicality. Derrick Henry ran for 144 yards and three touchdowns on 24 carries.
The Chiefs want to be physical, run the ball, and control the clock. This should led to another big game for Walker, where he runs for well over 80 yards.
Cam Skattebo OVER 49.5 Rushing Yards
The New York Giants pulled off one of the biggest upsets of week one by defeating the Dallas Cowboys. One of the keys to that victory was the way the Giants controlled the time of possession battle. They had the ball for 36 minutes and 40 seconds compared to 23:20 for the Cowboys.
A major key to controlling the time of possession is being able to run the ball and that’s what the Giants want to do. Skattebo ran for 81 yards on 18 carries against the Cowboys.
The Giants take on the highly hyped Los Angeles Rams in week two. They will want to repeat their time of possession dominance in this match-up as well. In week one, the Rams struggled to stop the run against the San Francisco 49ers, as the 49ers ran for a total of 174 yards. New York will definitely try to duplicate what the 49ers did, which will lead to Skattebo getting 15-20 carries. This should lead to him getting well over 50 yards rushing.
